name’s rory de chanelle. born on december 20th, 2003. not sure if i really have a job, i mostly do volunteer work. as for where you can find me.. i’m not sure either, i’m usually somewhere around the world.
Most people know her simply as Rory. Born to a British father and a French mother, Rory grew up with a suitcase never quite unpacked. Her family believed that life was meant to be explored, not settled, so home was never a single place. One year it might be a quiet town near the English countryside, the next a bustling city somewhere across the world. Moving was as natural to her as changing seasons.
Fresh out of college, Rory had decided not to follow a conventional career path. Instead, she dedicated her time to volunteer work. Helping people and caring for animals gave her a sense of purpose that no office job ever could. Every project taught her something new, whether it was a practical skill, a different culture, or simply a new way of seeing the world.
Their latest stop brought them to a small village in Indonesia. Rory had no idea how long they would stay before the next adventure called them elsewhere. At first, it was supposed to be just another temporary chapter.
While volunteering in the village, Rory met a group of travelers who quickly became close friends. They came from different countries and backgrounds, each carrying their own stories, experiences, and dreams. They were curious, open-minded, and endlessly passionate about learning from the people they met.
Conversations with them often lasted late into the night. Through their stories, Rory felt as though she was discovering parts of the world she had never seen. They challenged her perspectives, shared their adventures, and inspired her to imagine a future that stretched far beyond any map.
What surprised her most was how quickly they became important to her. In a life filled with constant goodbyes, genuine connections were rare. Yet somehow, these friendships felt effortless and real. So when the group announced they would soon be moving on to another destination, Rory made a decision that would change everything. Instead of staying behind and waiting for the next family relocation, she chose to go with them.
For the first time, she wasn't following her family's plans. She was following her own. And so began Rory's newest adventure… one filled with unfamiliar roads, unexpected friendships, and countless stories waiting to be written.
